I almost don't know what to write. It's simple fantastic... Niels has won his first World Championship and is the new World Straight Pool Champion!!!

I'm so happy that I flew to New York and was able to watch and share every ball he shot. He played great, showed a lot of strenght when things got tough. It's been very interesting to follow each match and feel what it takes step-by-step. A lot of different things to deal with from the last matches. Of course, for me he was already the best... I've been watching him for years now and I know that he has the abilities and qualities of a real champion. It's amazing!

These last days have been crazy... a lot of impressions, almost no time to stand still and deal with all the emotions. But of course, super exiting and satisfying as well! To be honest, I have a big smile on my lips all the time. How can I not? I love the game and I love Niels. He deserves the titel 100%.

Also, it's great to experience all the kindness from fans, family and friends all around the world. Thank you all so very much, it means a lot to the both of us!
